I jumped in at the deep end and started in artist liaison with a work placement at BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend. Since then, I’ve worked within artist liaison/hospitality for local festivals, radio shows and in 2017 I coordinated the artist liaison and hospitality of one-off Suffolk music festival, Mekonville.

Here are a few of the projects I’ve worked on:

In 2015 I landed a competitive work placement to work behind the scenes with the infamous Needs Group at BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend. Despite it being my first experience in artist liaison, I kept a cool head in the presence of ‘music royalty’ including Florence + The Machine, Foo Fighters and Taylor Swift.

I coordinated the artist liaison and hospitality for this successful Suffolk festival. I don’t think I sat down once.

I assisted Amy from Get On The Soapbox with artist liaison and stage management for this popular festival.
